Licensed Architect for Minot, ND

Ramaker & Associates is looking for a talented, licensed Architect for our Minot, ND location. 3 – 5 years post registration experience is required. Plan, direct and manage real estate projects as well as commercial and retail development from inception to completion. Prefer someone from or with family ties to the Minot or Western North Dakota area.

Licensed Architect/Project Manager

Ramaker & Associates is searching for a talented, licensed Architect for our Sauk City, WI office. Plan, direct and manage real estate development projects as well as commercial and retail development projects throughout the U.S. from inception to completion. A minimum of 7 years experience is required. Multiple state licensure is a plus.

CAD Technician

Ramaker & Associates is seeking a Full time CAD technician with 0 - 6 years experience to provide Civil/Architectural drafting support on wireless telecommunication projects. AutoCAD knowledge is required. REVIT experience is a plus.

Licensed Mechanical Engineer

Ramaker & Associates is seeking a highly motivated, licensed Mechanical Engineer/Designer with experience to manage various piping, HVAC, electrical and plumbing projects. BS in engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience is required. Strong REVIT experience is preferred. The right candidate will participate in a team-oriented environment with excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Environmental Specialist

A tenured Environmental Professional, with a complete understanding of the EPA’s AAI requirements for Phase I ESAs. This person may also be a PE or PG.

Responsibilities: The Environmental Professional conducts on-site Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to identify recognized environmental conditions and other conditions of environmental concern for both the Project and off-site properties in accordance with specific scopes of work. Communicates all environmental issues to the project manager and prepares a written report accurately describing the findings.

  • Completes Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) to identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and other conditions of environmental concerns as outlined in the scope of work.
  • Assist in reviewing and supervising the Phase I ESA work of others.
  • Reviews previous assessment reports, historical and regulatory records for the property and for the surrounding area and reports data in accordance with ASTM criteria and client's scope of work.
  • Conducts interviews with property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the environmental conditions related to the property and adjacent properties.
  • Performs limited screenings for the presence of asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, and lead in drinking water. Screenings may include collection of samples.
  • Writes reports which convey the environmental assessment and provide exhibits and photos which illustrate or clarify information presented in the body of the report.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients needs.

The Environmental Professional candidate would additionally benefit by having experience scoping/writing Phase II ESA Work Plans and Phase II ESAs, as well as having geotechnical experience and familiarity with the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) program. The Environmental Professional should also be familiar with project management responsibilities including billing, client interaction, marketing and bringing new work to the firm, working with vendors, new work, profitability, etc).
