At the 2007 Waterpark Resorts Leadership & Development Conference, Ramaker & Associates was recognized as a premier designer
in the water park industry. Awards were received for their 2007 Dream Designs submissions for an Indoor Waterpark and an Indoor
Waterpark Resort.
Terry Ramaker Inducted Into WWA's Hall of Fame
Terry Ramaker and Ramaker & Associates were involved in indoor water parks even before they "officially" existed. From that first entrepreneurial approach to bringing typically outdoor play features to an indoor pool setting, Terry has been inspirational in pushing the limits of this entertainment phenomenon. These accomplishments for the past 20+ years were acknowledged on October 5, 2005.
At the World Waterpark Association's (WWA) 2005 Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, Terry was inducted into the WWA Hall of Fame. "His inclusion is in recognition of being a pioneer and innovator who has been essential in the development of the waterpark industry." CONGRATULATIONS TERRY!!!!!!!!!!
At the 2004 World Waterpark Association convention
and trade show in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Terry Ramaker received
the “Industry Leadership” award.
The award was given in recognition of his years of dedication to the industry and his
instrumental leadership in the growth of water parks in the hospitality
and entertainment sectors.
In July/August 2003, Recreation
Management released its Innovative Architecture & Design
Awards and, with more than 100 entries, two of our aquatic projects received
recognition!
Motion Fitness & Racquet Club in New Berlin, Wisconsin
won an award, while an Honor Award went to YLA Charter School,
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Congratulations to the project architects: Eppstein
Uhen Architects for Motion Fitness and Uihlein-Wilson for YLA. |
