Two Commercial Dual-Propulsion Therapy Pools from Endless Pools
Indoorance Therapy Pools
Madison, WI
Indoorance Athletic Club wanted to create a space dedicated to recovery and wellness centered around two Commercial Dual-Propulsion Therapy Pools from Endless Pools. Ramaker worked closely with Indoorance, Endless Pools, the contractor, and the project architect to bring a unique, above-ground aquatic experience to life.
Ramaker first completed a phase 1 evaluation, which included an in-depth site visit and coordination with state reviewers to understand existing conditions, confirm code compliance, and outline the path forward. This early-stage assessment allowed the team to identify challenges, explore layout feasibility, and establish a clear plan for the next phase of design.
With Phase 1 complete, advanced into phase 2: engineering, where Ramaker is developing the full aquatic design needed to make the pools a successful part of the renovated facility. This includes confirming pool placement within a tight footprint—evaluating whether two basins can be code‑compliant in the available space—while working closely with the Owner and project partners to refine decisions as the design progresses.
From there, Ramaker led the development of comprehensive pool construction documents, including the pool area layout, equipment room design, accessibility considerations, safety features, and water treatment planning. The aquatic design is fully integrated with the building’s architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing systems thanks to close collaboration with the rest of the project team. After submitting the plans for State of Wisconsin DSPS review, the project moved into construction.
The new dedicated wellness space serves the training and recovery goals of club members, providing safe and reliable access to state-of-the-art therapy pools equipped for both swimming and underwater treadmill workouts.
