Nakoma Golf Club

When leadership at Nakoma Golf Club in Madison, Wisconsin, decided to update their facilities, they wanted to increase the recreational value of the club’s pool area. Potter Lawson, the project architect, brought on Ramaker to provide aquatic design and engineering services for three new pools: an eight-lane competition pool, a diving well, and a wading pool with a zero-depth entry and interactive play features.

Throughout the planning stages of the project, Ramaker leaned on its extensive country club pool design experience. Ultimately, the firm’s aquatics team incorporated elements that prioritized full-family leisure and the strength of Nakoma Golf Club’s swimming and diving team. Now, Nakoma Golf Club’s pool area provides a fun and safe poolside experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
