Three new outdoor pools, new bathhouse and concession stand

Ridgewood Pool has been a community gathering place for residents of Madison’s southwest side since 1958. When it became clear that the original structures had far outlived typical life expectancy, Ramaker was selected by the Ridgewood Pool Board of Directors to provide Aquatic, Architectural, and Structural Design and Engineering Services for a new -lane competition lap pool, diving well with three boards, and wading pool. In addition, we provided structural engineering for the new bathhouse and concession stand.
These new facilities, along with the original 6-lane recreation/lesson pool, will allow swim lessons, exercise and fitness, competition, and recreation to continue for families in Madison’s Orchard Ridge and Meadowood neighborhoods for generations to come.
