Ramaker Continues Leadership Transition, Announces New President and CEO
SAUK CITY, WI — Ramaker today announced that President and CEO Jamie Skowronski, P.E., will retire at the end of April 2022. The company’s board of directors unanimously approved Mike Pinske, P.E., as the firm’s next president and CEO. Skowronski will remain on the company’s board following his retirement.
The company’s leadership transition began in 2012. Over the past few years, Skowronski has worked closely with Pinske and Ramaker Vice President and CFO Jean Bergman to ensure a seamless transition for the growing firm. Headquartered in Sauk City, WI, the firm has added strategic locations in Denver, CO; Lodi, NJ; Madison, WI; and Willmar, MN.
Regarding the planned transition, Pinske said: “Jamie’s leadership transformed Ramaker, taking us from a small family-owned company to a multidiscipline firm with a nationwide reach. I’m grateful for his mentorship and excited to oversee the firm’s continued growth.”
Skowronski joined Ramaker in 2002. Over the past two decades, he has applied his design, construction, and engineering expertise to expand the firm’s services and reach. He was instrumental in Ramaker’s transition from private ownership to 100% employee-ownership in 2007.
Pinske’s promotion to president and CEO comes after serving as Ramaker’s COO for the past four years. In his new role, he will continue to lead day-to-day operations and execute the firm’s strategic vision for future growth.
“Over the past few years, Mike has taken control of each and every matter that came across his desk. The pandemic presented challenges, but he’s risen to the occasion and helped Ramaker prosper,” said Skowronski. “I’m very confident in where Mike is going to take this company.”
This announcement comes after a strong year for Ramaker. While the pandemic caused disruptions, the firm continued to expand its service offerings. Earlier this year, the firm was named a 2022 Top Workplace by the Wisconsin State Journal.
