Holiday Inn Express PIP

New Berlin, WI

In 2017, leadership at New Berlin Hotel Group decided to renovate the first floor of the Holiday Inn Express in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

The undertaking would modernize the property, bringing the hotel into compliance with the latest IHG Hotels & Resorts prototype. Ramaker was hired to provide architectural, engineering, and interior design services for the property improvement plan (PIP).

Ramaker’s hospitality team applied their intimate familiarity with IHG’s brand standards to finish the project quickly and efficiently. The first-floor improvements included modernizing the reception area and meeting rooms, redesigning elements of the breakfast area, updating cabinetry, carpeting, finishes, flooring, lighting, trim, wall sconces, and window valances, and addressing electrical needs for the new layout, among other renovations. All these changes were made in alignment with IHG’s most recent prototype and emphasized end-user experience.
