Ramaker & Associates now employee-owned

Terry & Sandy Ramaker, founders of Ramaker & Associates, Inc., have sold the company to their valued employees and officially retired.

The husband and wife team began the consulting engineering firm in their own home 15 years ago. Under their leadership, the company has continually expanded their niche markets, and they now employ nearly 70 professionals. The company's headquarters are in Sauk City, Wis., but they do business in more than 40 states.

"We are very proud of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan we’ve put into place," says Mr. Ramaker. "All of our employees are included in the structure. This ensures, as owners, each employee has a vested interest in the happiness and success of every client."
